TEXAS SCHOLARS

Criteria for students to meet Texas Scholars distinction includes:

• Passed 2 semesters of advanced measures classes (which include any 2 dual-credit/college courses through Paris Junior College or both semesters of Spanish III)
• Must have taken the ACT Test or the ASVAB test
• Must be on the Texas High School Foundation Graduation Plan with at least 1 Endorsement

*These criteria must all have been met, in order for a student to be considered and awarded with being a Texas Scholar. Texas Scholars will be recognized at graduation and usually a reception in their honor will be scheduled at end of year.
