Below is a list of local scholarships offered to
Detroit High School seniors and the amounts.
**All scholarships will be due by 12:00 noon on the date due deadline , unless otherwise noted. Also, be sure to make sure all criteria for scholarships are met and any requested documents, such as transcripts and/or resume’s are included with application.
(The amounts listed are subject to change by scholarship benefactors.)
PJC Erbie & Allie Bell Sale Scholarship (must be attending PJC and have at least a “22” on the ACT)– $1,200 per year Due: March 17th , 20 2 1 Glenn Townes Memorial Scholarship- $10,000 Due: March 30th , 2021 Lennox Foundation Scholarship- $12,000 **Seniors must have a composite score of at least "20" on the ACT test to apply. Also, applicants must have completed both their junior and senior years at the same Red River County school district. Co-op Gin Scholarship – $500 Due: April 6th , 202 1 (Must intend to pursue ag-related degree)Blake Trammell Memorial Scholarship--$1,000.00 Due: April 9th , 202 1 Brittany Camille Bailey Roseberry Scholarship—(2) $500.00 each Due: April 9th , 2021 Detroit Elementary PTO Scholarship- (2) $250 each Due: April 15th, 2021 Detroit Greenhouse Scholarship- (1)-$500 and (2)-$250 each Due: April 15th , 2021 Richard McCoin & Zach Broadway Memorial Scholarship- $1,000 and $500 (Combined app) Due: April 15th , 2021 Clarence Killough Memorial Booster Club Scholarship $1,000 Due: April 16th , 2021 Leisa Brown Memorial Scholarship– (2) $500 Due: April 16th , 2021 Eagle Honor—Charles Sharp Memorial Scholarship- (2) $500 Due: April 16th , 2021 Trooper Jeff Nichols Memorial Scholarship--$1,000 Due: April 16th , 2021 Detroit Ag Alumni Scholarship-- ($ amount varies) Due: April 16th , 2021 RRC Retired School Employees Scholarship- $100 Due: April 23rd , 2021 Tyler Henderson Memorial Scholarship $500 Due: April 23rd , 2021 Detroit Youth Sports Association Scholarship– $250 Due: April 23rd , 2021 (must have at least 10 volunteer hours with DYSA for applicant’s senior year). Heritage Bank Scholarship- $500 Due: April 27th , 2021 Student Council Scholarship- $500 Due: April 27th , 2021 Detroit Class of 2020 Scholarship— $500 Due: April 27th , 2021 Red River County Farm Bureau Scholarship--$1,000 Due: April 29, 2021 Clarksville Rotary Club Scholarship- $750 Due: April 30, 2021 American Legion Post 199 Scholarship– $1,500 Due: April 27th , 2020 Georgia Dorrough Memorial Scholarship--$500 Due: April 30, 2020
