I graduated from Clarksville High School in 2003. I attended Tyler Junior College and transferred to Texas A&M University-Commerce, where I received my Bachelorof Science in Interdisciplinary Studies in 2009, and later received my Master’s of Education. Go Lions!

Throughout the years I have attended numerous workshops and conferences. Workshops and conferences include but are not limited to TEKS Resource Math Conferences, On Cloud Nine Math Conference, Phonics Dance Reading, Gifted and Talented, TCEA (technology), TELPAS training, ESL training, Principal’s Certification Workshop, TEA Math training, and BELLA Literacy Training just to name a few.
I started teaching at Detroit Elementary in August 2017. This is my second year in the district. I currently teach fourth grade Reading and Math.
I started teaching in August of 2009. I taught in Clarksville ISD for five years and Paris ISD for three years.
I am married to my husband, Wesley, of four years. We have a daughter, who is one year old and she keeps us on our toes.
I love traveling. I am very adventurous and love going to different places when I can talk my husband into it! I love singing, dancing, spending time with my family, and just enjoying life and living it to the fullest!
