I started teaching August, 1989 at Deport Elementary in 5th grade.
In 1997, I moved to 6th-8th grade Math at Deport Jr High.
In 2005, Deport Jr High merged with Blossom Jr High in the old Prairiland High School building.
In 2016, I left Prairiland to come work at Detroit Elementary.
In 2019, I moved to Detroit Middle School
I have been married to my husband, Barry, since 1989.
We have four children. We have 2 sons (ages 28 and 24) and 2 daughters(twins-21).
My oldest works in the ER at Baylor Scott and White in McKinney and is an adjunct computer professor at Mountain View Community College in Dallas.
My second son is an 8th grade Math teacher and Algebra teacher at Rodrequiz Middle School in Denton ISD.
My twin daughters are employeed at Tri County Shared Services in Commerce as SLP-A.
When I am not teaching, you will find me on our farm checking cows, riding the kawasaki mule, hog hunting with the hubby, or driving a tractor.
