Christie Welch

Welcome to the 2015-2016 school year for Detroit ISD!  I am proud to be the new counselor for Detroit.  This is my 20th year in education and 14th year to be a school counselor.  I am excited to help all of our students to become the most successful students possible and to help them to become productive, hard-working, and successful citizens one day.  There are lots of great and exciting things going on at DISD, so please get involved as parents and encourage your students to become involved in school as well.  Research shows that the more parents and students are involved in the school, the more successful the student will be!  Please let me know if I can assist you or your student in any way to help them with their school career.
